Kādu rītu Juris Grietai ausīs čukst: Vai zini ko,
Iesim šodien sēnes lasīt, ko tu teiksi man par to?
Grieta nosarkst un tad saka: Juri, tikai apsolies,
Tad kad mežmalā mēs tiksim, nesāc gar man knakstīties!
Juris svēti apsolās un tie sēņot aizsteidzas.

Kad tie meža malā tika, Juris Grietai saka tā:
Iesim dziļāk mežā iekšā, sēnes neaug mežmalā.
Tiklīdz meža vidū tika, Grietai kaut kā kāja slīd.
Juris, ķerdamies pie Grietas, līdz ar viņu zemē krīt.
Un no šāda kritiena Grietai kāja izmežģījas.

Juris saka: Es jau protu tādu vainu izārstēt.
Guli zemē itin rāmi, kāju vajag masierēt.
Bet pēc brīža Grieta saka: Juri, kur tu masierē?
Man jau kāja sāp ne ribas, ja tu tā, tad es vairs nē.
Mīļo Grietiņ, tas nekas, man tik šoreiz misējās.

Saule jau aiz kalniem steidzas, diena jau uz galu iet.
Tā nu abiem sēņotājiem laiks ir drīz uz mājām iet.
Tā nu abi sēņotāji nāk no meža lēkājot,
Grieta priecīga, ka Juris itin labi masēt prot.
Kam šī lieta jauka šķiet, tad lai rītu sēņot iet!

Mushroom Pickers

One morning, George whispers to Grace,
