Nous avons tous les quatre grandi ensemble

Les frères Blackwood qui venaient en ville

Ils attiraient toujours une foule de jeunes et de vieilles femmes,
Et d'hommes avec l'hypothèque sur leurs maisons.
Des fermiers et des enseignants, des hommes riches et des prédicateurs...
La vieille école était pleine, et ils venaient.
Et on achetait tous les albums, toutes les photos, tous les singles ;
Leurs autographes étaient les seules choses gratuites.
Mais la principale chose qu'ils vendaient
C'était Jésus et les chants
Dans cette vieille école où les Blackwood chantaient pour moi.
