The sun is shining the skies are blue
And there's a cool breeze passing through.
The plants are green it's a beautiful scene
Seems like a nice place for human beings.
But there's people on the streets, no shoes on their feet
They gotta hustle to get a little food to eat.
I know that things shouldn't be this way
But what can I do, what can I say?

There are oh so many problems
And I wish that I could solve them.
But even with inspiration,
Right direction and good intention.
No man is an island so won't somebody give a hand
For the people in the third world.

Die Sonne scheint, der Himmel ist blau
Und eine kühle Brise weht hindurch.
Die Pflanzen sind grün, es ist ein wunderschöner Anblick
Wirkt wie ein schöner Ort für Menschen.
Aber da sind Menschen auf der Straße, ohne Schuhe an den Füßen
Sie müssen sich abrackern, um etwas zu essen zu bekommen.
Ich weiß, dass es nicht so sein sollte
Aber was kann ich tun, was kann ich sagen?

Es gibt oh so viele Probleme
Und ich wünschte, ich könnte sie lösen.
Doch selbst mit Inspiration,
der richtigen Richtung und guter Absicht.
Kein Mensch ist eine Insel, also, reicht denn niemand eine helfende Hand
Für die Menschen in der Dritten Welt.
