Ich war Opfer der TV-Bilder/Ich würde eine Fahne tragen, eine Wollmütze, und
Darüber ein Bandana/Zwei Stirnbänder passend dazu/Hosen hängend an den
Hüften, Shorts darunter ragend/Laufendes Klischee, Hip Hop hat nichts zu tun

Bevor ich erkannte, Hip Hop sind wir alle/Ich dachte, Hip Hop sei nur in den Staaten
Und der Rest seien Nachahmer/Ich war alarmiert zu merken, wie falsch ich
Lag/Und erleichtert zu entdecken, dass er uns allen gehört/Hip Hop sind
Unabhängige Geister, Denker/Du musst keine heiligen Schriften schreiben/Nur die Prinzipien
Befolgen/Es sind nicht nur die Elemente, die Köpfe und Hörer/Ohne uns
