O Lingam worshipped by Brahma and Vishnu,
Whose radiant beauty is beyond compare,
You, who destroy the sorrows of birth and death,
To you, SadaShiva Lingam, I bow.
O Lingam worshipped by gods and sages,
You, who burn away desires and bestow compassion,
You, who vanquished the pride of Ravana,
To you, SadaShiva Lingam, I bow.
O Lingam anointed with all manner of fragrant oils,
You, who increase intelligence and wisdom,
You, who are worshipped by siddhas, suras, and asuras,
To you, SadaShiva Lingam, I bow.
O Lingam adorned with gold and precious gems,
You, who are encircled by the serpent king,
You, who destroyed Daksha's arrogant sacrifice,
To you, SadaShiva Lingam, I bow.
O Lingam anointed with saffron and sandalwood paste,
You, who are adorned with a garland of lotuses,
You, who destroy the sins accumulated over many lifetimes,
