Priya shyam sakha tu hai sune naino ka ujiyara
Tuhi jeevan data Tuhi jeevan ka rakhwara

Andhiyare antar mein tune antar jyoti jagayi
Antar tanik na rakha bas gya antar beech kanhayi

Mujhme mukhrit hoke mujhse krishna katha kehlayi
Sab kuch swayam kiya aur de di mujhko naam badaai

Maine toh bas bhule bhatke jai shri krishna uchchara

Ved purano se nahi hoti prabhu teri paribhasha
Main agyaani kaise gau swar hai aur na bhasha

Tera darshan teri sewa janmo ki abhilasha
Tere shri charno mein soti aasha aur nirasha

Ant samay hari sadgati dena rakhna dhyaan hamara

Beloved friend Krishna, you are the light of my sightless eyes
You are the giver of life, and the protector of life
