Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul, with a corncob pipe and a button nose an two eyes made out of coal,.
Frosty the snowman is a fairytale they say, he was made of snow but the children know how he came to life one day,
There must have been some magic in that old silk hat they found for when they placed it on his head he began to dance around.
Oh frosty the snowman was alive as he could be and the children say he could laugh and play just the same as you and me.
Frosty the snowman knew the sun was hot that day.

Frosty der Schneemann war eine lustige, fröhliche Seele, mit einer Maiskolbenpfeife und einer Knopf-Nase und zwei Augen aus Kohle gemacht.
Frosty der Schneemann ist ein Märchen, sagt man, er war aus Schnee gemacht, doch die Kinder wissen, wie er eines Tages zum Leben erwachte.
Es muss wohl Magie in diesem alten Seidenhut gewesen sein, den sie fanden, denn als sie ihn auf seinen Kopf setzten, fing er an herumzutanzen.
Oh Frosty der Schneemann war so lebendig, wie er nur sein konnte, und die Kinder sagen, er konnte lachen und spielen, genau wie du und ich.
Frosty der Schneemann wusste, dass die Sonne an diesem Tag heiß war.
Also sagte er: „Lasst uns rennen und Spaß haben, bevor ich wegschmelze.“
Hinunter ins Dorf, mit einem Besenstiel in der Hand, rannte er hierhin und dorthin über den ganzen Platz und rief: „Fangt mich, wenn ihr könnt!“
Er führte sie die Straßen der Stadt hinunter direkt zum Verkehrspolizisten, und er hielt nur einen Moment inne, als er ihn „Stopp!“ rufen hörte.
Frosty der Schneemann musste sich beeilen, aber er winkte zum Abschied und sagte: „Weint nicht, ich komme eines Tages wieder zurück.“
