සුන්දර රාත්රියක් මෙතරම්
කවදා උදාවේද නොදනී
ඔබගේ සුසුම් වලින් උණුස්ම්
මහදේ කුසුම් පිපේ මනරම්.

රහසේ තුඩ තුඩ ගාවා
තනියට වන ඹබරුන් ආවා
අප සඳ වතුරෙන් නාවා
රාත්රිය මෙලෙසම පවතීවා.

රහසේ තරු නොනැගේවා
අපගේ සිහිනය නොබිඳේවා
පුර හඳ අහසින් එලවා
රාත්රිය දුක් ගිනි නොගෙනේවා.

A night so beautiful like this,
When will it come again, I don't know.
Warmed by your gentle breeze,
Beautiful flowers bloom in my heart.

Whispering secrets among themselves,
Lonely fireflies come to meet.
Let's bathe in the moonlight,
And let this night linger on forever.

The stars don't dare to rise,
Lest they disturb our reverie.
The full moon shines down from the sky,
And the night burns no fires of sorrow.
