Well, the plane landed and when I came out,
There was a dude who looked like a cop and was yellin' my name out.
I ain't tryin' to get arrested,
Man, I just got here!
I sprang with the quickness, like lightin', disappeared.
I whistled for a cab and when it came near,
The license plate said "Fresh" and had dice in the mirror!
If anything, I could say that this cab was rare,
But I said, "Naw forget it. Yo homes to Bel-Air!"
I pulled up to a house about seven or eight,
And I yelled to the cabby, "Yo homes, smell ya later!"
Looked at my kingdom, I was finally there.
To sit on my throne as the Prince of Bel-Air.

Première classe, mec, c'est du lourd.
Je bois du jus d'orange dans un verre à champagne.
Est-ce que c'est comme ça que vivent les gens à Bel-Air?

Bon, l'avion a atterri et quand je suis sorti,
Il y avait un mec qui ressemblait à un flic et qui criait mon nom.
Je n'essaie pas de me faire arrêter,
Mec, je viens d'arriver!
J'ai filé en courant, comme la foudre, j'ai disparu.
J'ai sifflé un taxi et quand il est arrivé près de moi,
La plaque d'immatriculation disait "Fresh" et il y avait des dés dans le rétroviseur!
Si j'avais quelque chose à dire, c'est que ce taxi était rare,
Mais j'ai dit, "Non, oublie ça. On rentre à Bel-Air!"
Je me suis arrêté devant une maison qui avait sept ou huit étages,
Et j'ai crié au chauffeur de taxi, "Yo homes, à plus tard!"
J'ai regardé mon royaume, j'étais enfin arrivé.
Pour m'asseoir sur mon trône en tant que Prince de Bel-Air.
