I just wanted to take this time to provide some insight as to, who Tilly is and why I do this
You know, my first time ever rapping, or freestyling if you will, was at 5 years old
Was moving from Pennsylvania to Texas, and uh, you can ask my family
They'll confirm that
I didn't put pen to paper actually until I was 9 years old, when I found out
My Aunt Katherine had passed away, Rest In Peace
Hearing that news put something on my heart, and I had to put it out
That was when I realized I could actually put these words together that were coming from my head
So, I wrote my first song when I was 14
And, I realized I was pretty decent at this
So I've practiced, and practiced, and wrote, wrote, freestyled, recorded
Everything under the sun to try and perfect this craft
And I'm still doing that to this very day, to this very second
As I'm speaking to you all, this is considered practice

I didn't actually start recording until my junior year of high school, so 2012-2013 timeframe

I'm saying all this to say that, I've had these experiences through my life
And even though, they've been prevalent and they've held weight
I didn't realize that things would come full circle to me, until this past December of 2018 when
I did my first show in Detroit, and it actually happened to be at the Hip-Hop shop
On 7 mile, where one of my favorite rappers, Eminem, did his very first show
Everybody who knows me know Eminem and Jay-Z are my top 2 of all time
So, just know that, you may not know what you want to do now
But over time, God will make your path prevalent to you

Interlude d'Aperçu

Si tu écoutes toujours, je veux te remercier encore une fois pour ta contribution ici aujourd'hui.
Je voulais juste prendre ce temps pour donner un aperçu de qui est Tilly et pourquoi je fais ça.
Tu sais, ma première fois à rapper, ou à freestyler si tu veux, c'était à 5 ans.
Je déménageais de Pennsylvanie au Texas, et euh, tu peux demander à ma famille.
Ils confirmeront ça.
Je n'ai pas vraiment mis la plume sur le papier avant l'âge de 9 ans, quand j'ai appris que
ma tante Katherine était décédée, paix à son âme.
Apprendre cette nouvelle m'a touché le cœur, et je devais l'exprimer.
C'est à ce moment-là que j'ai réalisé que je pouvais réellement assembler ces mots qui sortaient de ma tête.
J'ai donc écrit ma première chanson à l'âge de 14 ans.
Et j'ai réalisé que j'étais assez bonne dans ce domaine.
J'ai donc pratiqué, pratiqué, écrit, écrit, freestyler, enregistré.
Tout ce qui était possible pour essayer de perfectionner ce métier.
Et je continue de le faire encore aujourd'hui, à chaque seconde.
En te parlant, c'est considéré comme de la pratique.

Je n'ai pas vraiment commencé à enregistrer avant ma dernière année de lycée, donc entre 2012 et 2013.

Je dis tout ça pour dire que j'ai vécu ces expériences tout au long de ma vie.
Et même si elles ont été prédominantes et qu'elles ont eu du poids,
je n'ai pas réalisé que les choses feraient un cercle complet pour moi avant décembre 2018, lorsque
j'ai fait mon premier concert à Detroit, et il se trouve qu'il a eu lieu au Hip-Hop shop.
Sur 7 Mile, où l'un de mes rappeurs préférés, Eminem, a fait son tout premier concert.
Tous ceux qui me connaissent savent qu'Eminem et Jay-Z sont mes 2 préférés de tous les temps.
Alors, sache que tu ne sais peut-être pas ce que tu veux faire maintenant.
Mais avec le temps, Dieu te fera connaître ton chemin.
