Cela me rappelle à quel point c'était bien, et à quel point c'est mal en ce moment
À côté, il y a une tasse à café, où je garde mon alliance et tout
Et certaines nuits, cela m'empêche encore de dormir, comment j'en suis arrivé là
C'est drôle de voir comment la vie d'un homme peut se résumer à une aventure d'un soir
Le 5 novembre dernier, lors d'un voyage d'affaires à Denver
L'aéroport a annulé tous les vols, nous étions des étrangers coincés par la neige
Seule pour la nuit, elle a dit : "Bonjour, je m'appelle Angie et je viens de Boston
Voulez-vous boire une bière avec moi si je vous les offre ?"
Alors je suis allé au bar de l'hôtel avec elle, je me suis dit, qu'est-ce que ça peut faire ?
Assis sur le lit, appuyé contre le mur avec une Bible et une arme à feu
L'un d'eux allait me sauver, la seule question était lequel
Alors je me suis agenouillé sur mes genoux tremblants, j'ai demandé au Seigneur de me pardonner s'il vous plaît
J'ai laissé tomber l'arme et j'ai attrapé mes clés, cette photo et mon alliance
