Meine Damen und Herren
Hier spricht der ungläubige Xavier
Ich glaub' eigentlich so gut wie garnix,
Was da Draußen gesagt wird.

Und ich mach mir so mein eigenes Bild.

Wo ist der Wille und der dazugehörige Weg,
Wie lange soll es denn noch dauern, bis sich Widerstand regt?
Widerstand hört sich komisch an, klingt nach Revolution
Und all das hatten wir schon.

Doch auch Niedergang fühlt sich komisch an.
Wir jammern auf hohem Niveau,
Denn fast jeder hat fließendes Wasser, eigenes Klo,
Eigene vier Wände und trotzdem sind wir nicht froh.

Wir zweifeln wirklich ob wir ein bisschen Notstand überleben.
Die Frage ist doch ob wir unseren Wohlstand überleben.
Das Land ist ein Sanierungsfall aber so ist das eben.
An etwas was nicht da ist, kann man sich auch nicht überheben.

Ich überleg' wie ich motivier,
Doch manche Menschen sind so träge wie ein totes Tier.

Brot ist hier, Wurst ist hier, Bier ist hier, aber Frust ist hier.

Dass Brüssel und Berlin nichts bringen wussten wir.
Also schuften wir, für die große Gier.
Schon so viele Anstrengungen verpufften hier
Also schuften wir, bis wir tot umfallen.

Da wir anscheinend daran nie die Lust verlieren,
Ich meine am krepieren, am vorzeitigen Ende, am frühen Aus.
Doch es ist Zeitenwende, lieber ein Ende mit Schrecken
Als ein Schrecken ohne Ende.

Die Erfahrungen der Menschen im Irak sprechen Bände.
Trotz zweier Weltkriege bleiben unsere Hände im Schoss.
Die Ohnmacht ist groß, das Universum auch
Und man hat ein ungutes Gefühl im Bauch.

Irgendwas läuft schief, irgendwas läuft faul
Wann stopfen wir den unverschämten Cowboys das Maul?
Denkt ihr wir sind blöd? Denkt ihr wir sind dumm?
Denkt ihr wirklich wir sind Gläubige eurer Amtshandlung?

Eure Zeit läuft ab, eure Zeit ist um.
Ihr werdet von eurer eigenen Maschine wie verschlungen.
Die Maschine ist groß, die Maschine ist mächtig.
Sie läuft auf vollen Touren und sie ist sehr verletztlich

Die halbe Welt sucht Osama, denkt er versteckt sich.
Der Cowboy hofft, dass Castro stirbt, doch der Kerl verreckt nicht.
Osama wacht morgens ohne Bart auf und reckt sich,
Streckt sich zwei mal und springt in den Pool.

Cowboys rufen an und sagen: "Alles ist cool
Alles läuft nach Plan, keiner wird etwas erfahren.
Bei Al-Jazeera kommt morgen ein neues Video von dir an
Es ist kurz und bündig und gar nicht lang.

Und allen Angsthasen wird dann wieder Angst und Bang"

Educational Work

Ladies and gentlemen,
This is the unbelieving Xavier speaking.
I believe in almost nothing
That is being said out there.

And I form my own opinion.

Where is the will and the corresponding path,
How long will it take until resistance arises?
Resistance sounds strange, like revolution
And we've already had all that.

But decline also feels strange.
We complain at a high level,
Because almost everyone has running water, their own toilet,
Their own four walls and yet we are not happy.

We really doubt whether we would survive a bit of hardship.
The question is whether we will survive our prosperity.
The country is a renovation case but that's just the way it is.
You can't overextend yourself on something that isn't there.

I'm thinking about how to motivate,
But some people are as sluggish as a dead animal.

Bread is here, sausage is here, beer is here, but frustration is here.

We knew that Brussels and Berlin wouldn't bring anything.
So we slave away, for the great greed.
So many efforts have fizzled out here
So we slave away until we drop dead.

Since we apparently never lose the desire for it,
I mean dying, the premature end, the early exit.
But it's a turning point, better an end with horror
Than a horror without end.

The experiences of the people in Iraq speak volumes.
Despite two world wars, our hands remain idle.
The powerlessness is great, the universe too
