Al Mutaffifin

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

وَيۡلٞ لِّلۡمُطَفِّفِينَ ﴿١﴾
ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ٱكۡتَالُواْ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ يَسۡتَوۡفُونَ ﴿٢﴾
وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمۡ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمۡ يُخۡسِرُونَ ﴿٣﴾
أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَنَّهُم مَّبۡعُوثُونَ ﴿٤﴾
لِيَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٖ ﴿٥﴾
يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلنَّاسُ لِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ ﴿٦﴾
كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلۡفُجَّارِ لَفِي سِجِّينٖ ﴿٧﴾
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا سِجِّينٞ ﴿٨﴾
كِتَٰبٞ مَّرۡقُومٞ ﴿٩﴾
وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿١٠﴾
ٱلَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ ﴿١١﴾
وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّا كُلُّ مُعۡتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ ﴿١٢﴾
إِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِ ءَايَٰتُنَا قَالَ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ ﴿١٣﴾
كَلَّاۖ بَلۡۜ رَانَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ ﴿١٤﴾
كَلَّآ إِنَّهُمۡ عَن رَّبِّهِمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّمَحۡجُوبُونَ ﴿١٥﴾
ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمۡ لَصَالُواْ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ ﴿١٦﴾
ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ ﴿١٧﴾
كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارِ لَفِي عِلِّيِّينَ ﴿١٨﴾
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَ ﴿١٩﴾
كِتَٰبٞ مَّرۡقُومٞ ﴿٢٠﴾
يَشۡهَدُهُ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَ ﴿٢١﴾
إِنَّ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٍ ﴿٢٢﴾
عَلَى ٱلۡأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَ ﴿٢٣﴾
تَعۡرِفُ فِي وُجُوهِهِمۡ نَضۡرَةَ ٱلنَّعِيمِ ﴿٢٤﴾
يُسۡقَوۡنَ مِن رَّحِيقٖ مَّخۡتُومٍ ﴿٢٥﴾
خِتَٰمُهُۥ مِسۡكٞۚ وَفِي ذَٰلِكَ فَلۡيَتَنَافَسِ ٱلۡمُتَنَٰفِسُونَ ﴿٢٦﴾
وَمِزَاجُهُۥ مِن تَسۡنِيمٍ ﴿٢٧﴾
عَيۡنٗا يَشۡرَبُ بِهَا ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَ ﴿٢٨﴾
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أَجۡرَمُواْ كَانُواْ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ يَضۡحَكُونَ ﴿٢٩﴾
وَإِذَا مَرُّواْ بِهِمۡ يَتَغَامَزُونَ ﴿٣٠﴾
وَإِذَا ٱنقَلَبُوٓاْ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِمُ ٱنقَلَبُواْ فَكِهِينَ ﴿٣١﴾
وَإِذَا رَأَوۡهُمۡ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَضَآلُّونَ ﴿٣٢﴾
وَمَآ أُرۡسِلُواْ عَلَيۡهِمۡ حَٰفِظِينَ ﴿٣٣﴾
فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مِنَ ٱلۡكُفَّارِ يَضۡحَكُونَ ﴿٣٤﴾
عَلَى ٱلۡأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَ ﴿٣٥﴾
هَلۡ ثُوِّبَ ٱلۡكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُواْ يَفۡعَلُونَ ﴿٣٦﴾

Al-Mutaffifin

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Woe to those who give less [than due], (1)
Who, when they take a measure from people, take in full, (2)
But if they give by measure or by weight to them, they cause loss. (3)
Do they not think that they will be resurrected (4)
For a Great Day, (5)
The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds? (6)
Nay! Surely the record of the wicked is in Sijjin. (7)
And what will make you know what Sijjin is? (8)
A Register inscribed. (9)
Woe, that Day, to the deniers, (10)
Who deny the Day of Recompense. (11)
And none denies it except every sinful transgressor. (12)
When Our verses are recited to him, he says, "Legends of the former peoples." (13)
Nay! But on their hearts is the stain of what they used to earn. (14)
Nay! Surely they will be veiled from their Lord that Day. (15)
Then indeed, they will [enter and] burn in Hell. (16)
Then it will be said, "This is what you used to deny." (17)
Nay! Surely the record of the righteous is in 'Illiyyin. (18)
And what will make you know what 'Illiyyin is? (19)
A Register inscribed. (20)
Witnessed by those nearest [to Allah ]. (21)
Indeed, the righteous will be in bliss (22)
On thrones, looking. (23)
You recognize in their faces the radiance of bliss. (24)
They will be given to drink [pure and] sealed wine. (25)
Its seal is musk, and for that let the competitors compete. (26)
And its mixture is of Tasnim. (27)
A spring from which those near [to Allah] will drink. (28)
Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed. (29)
And when they passed by them, they would exchange glances. (30)
And when they returned to their people, they would return jesting. (31)
And when they saw them, they would say, "Indeed, these are truly astray." (32)
But they were not sent as guardians over them. (33)
So Today those who believed are laughing at the disbelievers (34)
On thrones, looking. (35)
Have the disbelievers been rewarded for what they used to do? (36)
