Oh Crimson death, why do you ignore these people?
As long as Allah has given you what He has, be arrogant
But I ask about the many things you took from vanity
Neither beautiful nor flaccid nor young nor handsome
Be arrogant. What's wrong with you?

Don't you see the daggers in your swords?
Until you come and take refuge and become a crimson death
By Allah, there is neither power nor dignity in it
Where can I take my wandering heart when it starts to stab me?

You are my hope and my sustenance and my attention
My torment and my tormentor, the easiest and the most dangerous
You came from the eyes of love without asking, and I was negligent
You told me to be strong in my separation, and I said to you, "By Allah, I cannot."
