أغيب وذو اللطائف لا يغيب

وأسأله السلامة من زمان
بليت به نوائبه تشيب
و أنزل حاجتي في كل حال
إلى من تطمئن به القلوب
فكم لله من تدبير أمر
طوته عن المشاهدة الغيوب
وكم في الغيب من تيسير عسر
ومن تفريج نائبة تنوب
ومن كرم ومن لطف خفي
ومن فرج تزول به الكروب
ومن لي غير باب الله باب
ولا مولا سواه ولا حبيب
كريم منعم بر لطيف
جميل الستر للداعي مجيب
حليم لا يعاجل بالخطايا
رحيم رحيم غيث رحمته يصوب
فيا ملك الملوك أقل عثاري
فأني عنك أنأتني الذنوب
وأمرضني الهوى لهوان حظي
ولكن ليس غيرك لي طبيب
فآمن روعتي واكبت حسودا
فإن النائبات لها نيوب
وآنسني بأولادي وأهلي
فقد يستوحش الرجل الغريب
ولي شجن لأطفال صغار
أكاد إذا ذكرتهم أذوب
ولكني نبذت زمام أمري
لمن تدبيره فينا عجيب
هو الرحمن حولي واعتصامي
به وإليه مبتهلا أوتيب
إلهي أنت تعلم كيف حالي
فهل يا سيدي فرج قريب
فيا ديان يوم الدين فرج
هموما فالفؤاد لها دبيب
وصل حبلي بحبل رضاك
وانظر إلى وتب علي عسى أتوب
وراعي حمايتي وتولى نصري
وشد عراي إن عرت الخطوب
وألهمني لذكرك طول عمري
فإن بذكرك الدنيا تطيب
وقل عبدالرحيم ومن يليه
لهم في ريف رأفتنا نصيب
فظني فيك يا سندي جميل
ومرعى ذود آمالي خصيب
وصل على النبي وآله
ماترنم في الأراك العندليب

I disappear, but the One with grace does not disappear

And I hope for Him, a hope that will not disappoint
I disappear, but the One with grace does not disappear
And I hope for Him, a hope that will not disappoint
And I ask Him for safety from a time
Its calamities have turned white
And fulfill my need in every situation
To the One in whom hearts find peace
For Allah has many ways of managing affairs
He has hidden them from our sight
And how many times in the unseen has hardship been eased
And how many times has a calamity been averted
And how many times has kindness and hidden grace been shown
And how many times has relief come, removing all distress
Who else do I have but the door of Allah, the door
And no master besides Him, and no beloved
A generous, gracious, kind One, gentle
Beautiful in His concealment, responsive to those who call upon Him
Forbearing, not hasty in punishing sins
Merciful, Merciful, rain of His mercy descends
So, O King of Kings, forgive my mistakes
For I have distanced myself from You, and sins have burdened me
And my love for worldly things has made me sick
But there is no doctor but You for me
So, keep my fears at bay, and keep me from envy
For calamities have teeth
And comfort me with my children and family
For a man can feel lonely as a stranger
And I have a yearning for my little children
I almost dissolve when I remember them
But I have handed over the reins of my affairs
To the One whose management of us is amazing
He is the Most Gracious, surrounding me and my stronghold
To Him and to Him I pray to be guided
My God, You know my situation
Will relief come soon, my Lord?
O Judge of the Day of Judgment, relieve
Worries that creep into the heart
Tie my rope to the rope of Your pleasure
And look at me and forgive me so that I may repent
And take care of my protection and support my victory
And strengthen my ties if misfortunes befall me
And inspire me to remember You all my life
For in Your remembrance, this world becomes sweet
And say, عبدالرحيم and those who follow him
They have a share in our compassion
So, my hope in You, my support, is beautiful
And the pasture of my hopes is fertile
Peace be upon the Prophet and his family
As the nightingale sings in the arak tree
