Мой тяжкий груз постоянно со мной.

Мой торный путь преграждают стеной.

И это давит меня, толкает мир под откос.
Всё ясно тут, что кто-то вверх, а кто-то должен упасть,
Мечту распнут зависти грех и себялюбия страсть.
И я молю Бога в избавлении мук,
Кусок из памяти бритвой отрежь.
Или сотри мановением рук
Но заживи проклятую брешь.
Не избежать этих дырок в душе,
Ни горьких унций яда старых потерь.
Как я стремлюсь это закончить уже,
Захлопнуть намертво скорей в мой мир дверь.
Но так всё иду, и влачу за собой,
Надежд несбывшихся печальный кортеж.
И я всё молю, излечи мою боль
И заживи кровоточащую брешь.

Breach

With what perseverance I built the world, to protect it from prying eyes.
But in that world, as in a ship, there is a breach, there are wounds, there is a leak
It aches and throbs for so many years, no remedies help.
There is no antidote, and that breach bleeds blood..
Wherever I live, wherever I go,
My heavy load is always with me.
