الا وابدا بك ادعيك يالله ياعظيم الشأن
الا يامالك الملك ياذي ماعليك خزان
الا في وسط قلبي خزانة تزرع الياقوت
الا تجلي الهم من قلبي كما شاموت
الا قلبي يحبك وعيني تنزل الدمعة
الا دعيت رب السماء يلفنا جمعة
الا ياريتني صومعة في داخلش يا إب
الا من ميد خلي يوقع قريب ولا كثيب

Oh, I begin by calling out to You, O Allah, O One of Majestic Power
O master of the kingdom! There is no treasury that can be hidden from You
There is a treasury in the midst of my heart where rubies grow
Oh, remove this burden from my heart as it removes impurities
Oh, my heart loves You, and my eyes shed tears
I beseech the Lord of the heavens to gather us together
Oh, if I could only be a minaret within You, O Father
From a distance lies a valley that is neither steep nor flat
