Medine halkı birden noldu Ümmüseleme diyorlardı
Demin Resulllahı gördüm rüyamda diyor
Allah Resulünü gördüm mübarek başı ve sakalı kan içindeydi
Dedim ki ya Resulallah nedir senin bu halin
Sorma Ümmüseleme dedi demin Hüseyini şehit ettiler

Umm Kulthum, in her home

Suddenly, she woke up from the dream

Umm Kulthum was saying, "Oh, Husayn! Oh, Husayn!"
Oh, my Husayn! My Husayn!
Pity my Husayn!

The people of Madinah wondered what had happened, Umm Kulthum was saying
I just saw the Prophet in my dream, she said
I saw the Messenger of Allah, his blessed head and beard were covered in blood
I said, "Oh, Messenger of Allah, what is the matter with you?"
Don't ask, Umm Kulthum, he said, just now they have martyred Husayn
