A song like 'You Don't Kiss Me Anymore', among others – besides making me feel guilty on behalf of the male gender – made me realize that we men don't always fight (hard) enough for (not WITH!!) our women. Love Soldier is basically a 'cry' where you as a man say to your wife: "There may have been difficult times, or difficult times to come, but no matter what happens, I will fight for you!"
If you're willing to fight for your (loved) one, and you think he/she doesn't know it or doesn't hear it enough, sing it to him/her tonight... and make sure it's not an empty promise.
