Estaba la luna, estaban las estrellas,
Había una nueva sensación en la piel,
Estaba la noche, estaban las flores,
También en la oscuridad se veían los colores.
Estaba el deseo de seguir estando juntos,
Quizás por juego, de todas formas nos apetece
Darnos una vuelta mano en mano
Y contarnos que para nosotros el mundo es extraño.

Había una vez, o quizás eran dos,
Había un vaca, un borriquillo y un buey,
Había una noche con una sola estrella
Pero era grande, luminosa y bella.
Y si nos apetece a lo mejor vamos al mar,
Así en el agua podremos chapotear,
Y luego nadar, y hacer el muerto,
Controlaremos si la luna es todavía amarilla.
Sí...

Y mientras los otros todavía duermen
Tal vez soñando con nosotros
Y mientras el cielo se aclara
Nosotros miraremos esta noche que acaba.
