اے ختمِ رسول
کعبۂ مقصود تویی
در صورتِ هر چه هست موجود تویی
آیاتِ کمالِ حق عیان است بتو
آن ذات که در پرده نهان بود تویی

سہانی رات تھی
سہانی رات تھی اور پُرسکوں زمانہ تھا
اثر میں ڈوبا ہوأ، جذبِ عاشقانہ تھا
آ، اُنہیں تو عرش پہ محبوب کو بلانا تھا
ہَوَس تھی دید کی، معراج کا بہانہ تھا

سرِ لا مکاں سے طلب ہوئی
سرِ لا مکاں سے طلب ہوئی
سوئے مُنتہا وہ چلے نبی
سرِ لا مکاں سے طلب ہوئی
سوئے مُنتہا وہ چلے نبی
سرِ لا مکاں سے، لا مکاں سے
سرِ لا مکاں سے طلب ہوئی
سوئے مُنتہا وہ چلے نبی

یہ کمال حسن کا معجزہ
کہ فراق حق بھی نہ سہ سکا
سرِ لا مکاں سے طلب ہوئی
سوئے مُنتہا وہ چلے نبی

شبِ معراج لیا عرشِ بریں پر بلوائے
(شبِ معراج لیا عرشِ بریں پر بلوائے)
صدمۂ حجر خدا سے بھی گوارہ نہ ہوأ، نہ ہوأ

سرِ لا مکاں سے طلب ہوئی
سوئے مُنتہا وہ چلے نبی

شمس الضحىٰ، بدر الدجىٰ
يعني محمد مصطفىٰ

کوئی حد ہے اُن کے عروج کی

جو گیا ہے فرش سے عرش تک
وہ براق لے گیا بے دھڑک
طبقِ زمیں، ورقِ فلک
گئے نیچے پاؤں سے پل سڑک

لٹیں زلف کی جو گئیں لٹک
تو جہان سارا گیا مہک
ہوئیں مست بلبلیں اِس قدر
تو یہ غنچے بولے چٹک چٹک

کوئی حد ہے اُن کے عروج کی
کوئی حد ہے اُن کے عروج کی

رُخِ مصطفیٰ کی یہ روشنی
یہ تجلّیوں کی ہماہمی
(رُخِ مصطفیٰ کی یہ روشنی)
(یہ تجلّیوں کی ہماہمی)
کہ ہر ایک چیز چمک اُٹھی
کہ ہر ایک چیز چمک اُٹھی
كَشَفَ الٌدجىٰ بِجَمالِهِ
کہ ہر ایک چیز چمک اُٹھی
كَشَفَ الٌدجىٰ بِجَمالِهِ

کوئی حد ہے اُن کے عروج کی
کوئی حد ہے اُن کے عروج کی
بَلَغَ الٌعُلا بِكَمالِهِ
کوئی حد ہے اُن کے عروج کی
بَلَغَ الٌعُلا بِكَمالِهِ

نہ فلک، نہ چاند تارے، نہ سحر، نہ رات ہوتی
(نہ فلک، نہ چاند تارے، نہ سحر، نہ رات ہوتی)
نہ تیرا جمال ہوتا نہ یہ کائنات ہوتی
کوئی حد ہے اُن کے عروج کی
کوئی حد ہے اُن کے عروج کی
بَلَغَ الٌعُلا بِكََمالِهِ
کوئی حد ہے اُن کے عروج کی
بَلَغَ الٌعُلا بِكََمالِهِ

اے مظهرِ نورِ خدا
بَلَغَ الٌعُلا بِكَمالِهِ

مولا علی مشکل کشا
كَشَفَ الٌدجىٰ بِجَمالِهِ

حَسُنَتْ جَميعُ خِصالِهِ

The Utmost Heights with His Perfection

Oh, Seal of the Prophets,
You are the Kaaba of Desire,
In the form of all that exists, You are present,
The verses of the perfection of Truth are manifest in You,
That Essence which was hidden behind the veil is You.

It was a beautiful night,
It was a beautiful night, and the world was peaceful,
Lost in its effect, it was a passionate love,
Come, they had to call the Beloved to the Throne,
There was a longing for sight, the Ascension was the excuse.

A call came from the realm beyond space,

Towards the ultimate end, the Prophet went,

This miracle of perfect beauty,
That even the separation from the Truth could not bear,

When the locks of His hair were scattered,
The whole world was filled with fragrance,
The nightingales became so intoxicated,
That the buds burst open with a crack.
