Murari pad pankaj sfurad mand renutkatam...
Tatsth nav kaanan, prakat mod pushpambuna,
Sura sur su pujit smarpituh shriyam bibhratim...! 1!
Kalind giri mastake patad mand purojjvala...
Vilas gamnollasat prakat gand shailounata.
Saghosh gati dantura samdhi rudh dolotama.
Mukund rati vadhini jayati padm bandhoh suta...! 2!
Bhuam bhuva pavanim adhikata mane kaswnaih.
Priya bhiriv sevitam shuk mayr hansa dimbhih.
Tarang bhuj kankan prakat muktika valuka
Nitamb tat sundarim namat krushnaturym priyam...! 3!
Anant gun bhushite shiv viranchi devastute.
Ghana ghan nibhe sada dhruv parasharam bhishtde.
Vishuddh mathura tate, sakal gop gopi vrute.
Krupa jaldhi sanshrite mam manah sukh bhavayh.! 4!
Yaya charan padmja mur ripoh priyam bhavuka.
Samagamantoa bhavat sakalsiddhida sevtaam.
Taya sadash tamiyat kamlaja sa patniva yat...
Hari priy kalindiya mansi me sada sthiyetaam...! 5!
Namostu yamune sada tav charitra matyd bhutam...
Na jatu yam yaatna bhavti te payah paanatah.
Yamoapi bhagini sutan kathmu hanti dushtanapi...
Priyo bhavti sevanat tav harerytha gopikah...! 6!
Mamastu tav sanniddhou tanunav metavata.
Na durlabh tama rati muraripou mukund priye
Atoastu tav lalanaa sur dhuni parm sangamat.
Tavaiv bhuvi kirtia na tu kadapi pushti shtiteh.! 7!
Stutim tav karoti kah kamal ja sapatni priye.
Harery danu sevaya bhavti soukhy mamokshatah.
Iyam tav kathadhika sakal gopika sangamh.
Smar shram jalanu bhihsakal gatraje sangamah.! 8!
Tavashtak midam muda pathati sursute sada.
Samast duritakhayo bhavati vai mukunde ratih...
Taya sakal siddhiyo muraripushch santushyati...
Swabhav vijayo bhavet vadati vallabhah shree hareh.! 9!

...I bow to Yamuna Devi, the cause of all accomplishments, happiness...
Her lotus feet are adorned with the pollen of the lotus feet of Murari...
She manifests in the new forest, adorned with the flowers of happiness,
Worshipped by the gods and goddesses, she bestows auspiciousness! 1!
She descends from the crest of Kalind Mountain, shining brightly,
Her playful waves dance, adorned with the sandalwood of the mountains.
Her murmuring sound is like the sound of bells, dispelling sorrow.
She is the beloved of Mukunda, the daughter of Padmabandhu, we sing her glory! 2!
She purifies the earth, sky, and heaven with her sacred waters.
She is dear to the swans, cranes, and other waterfowl.
Her waves are adorned with bracelets of pearls and emeralds,
Her beautiful hips attract the beloved Krishna! 3!
She is adorned with countless virtues, worshipped by Shiva and Brahma.
She flows eternally, like the pure and steady flow of the Ganga.
On the banks of sacred Mathura, she is surrounded by the gopis and cowherds.
May her ocean of mercy fill my heart with joy! 4!
By whose lotus feet the god of love is enchanted,
By whose service all accomplishments are attained.
May she become my constant companion, like Lakshmi is to Vishnu...
May the beloved Yamuna, dear to Hari, reside forever in my mind! 5!
Salutations to you, Yamuna, whose character is beyond comprehension...
No suffering ever befalls those who drink your pure waters.
Even Yama, your brother, cannot harm those who are devoted to you...
You are beloved by Hari and the gopis! 6!
May I always reside in your presence, my body purified.
May I easily attain the love of Murari, the beloved of Mukunda.
May I always be in the company of your devotees, the celestial musicians.
May your glory never diminish on this earth! 7!
Who can sing your praises, beloved of the lotus-born goddess?
By serving you, I attain happiness and liberation.
This assembly of gopis is devoted to your story.
May we remember you even in times of fatigue and despair! 8!
May this eight-verse hymn to you always be recited by the gods and goddesses.
It dispels all sins and grants love for Mukunda...
By it, all accomplishments are attained, and Murari is pleased...
It brings victory over nature, as stated by the beloved of Shri Hari! 9!
