Am Nordrand von Buenos Aires, hinter der blauen Werkzeugfabrik, ziehn schwere Lokomotiven eine Grenze aus Pfiffen und Ruß.
Die Gassen sind abends mit Fäusten vollgepackt und mit Tangoliedern von Carlos Gardell.
Nur manchmal reißt sich der Wind von der Kette und fällt kläffend über jeden und jegliches her.
Als ich dort war, vor bald einem Jahr, ist Maria Magdalena mir begegnet, die Schläfen kostbar mit Schatten bewachsen und das Haar in den Achselhöhlen frisch rasiert.
Es war eine Zeit aus erster Qualität wie echte chinesische Seide.
Mein Wille war eine zärtliche Sichel und sie wartendes, reifes Getreide.
