Igreja de Oração

Eu nasci em uma igreja de oração, uma casinha lá no interior
Cada culto era motivo de festa, e cada crente orava com fervor.
O evangelismo era um avivamento, e cada crente queria participar
Na praça os ouvintes choravam, ouvindo a igreja cantar.

Meu amigo hoje tu tens a escolha, vida ou morte, qual vais aceitar
Amanhã pode ser muito tarde, hoje Cristo te quer libertar.

Há lugares em que chego por aí, e não vejo mais aquela comunhão
Confesso que me bate uma saudade, dos crentes daquela congregação
Volta de Cristo era tema atual, dons do Espírito tinha o seu lugar
Os pecadores a Deus se entregavam, quando ouviam a igreja cantar.

Filho meu dá-me o teu coração, filho meu dá-me o teu coração
É Deus pedindo, está insistindo, filho meu dá-me o teu coração...

Quando entrei por essas portas me
Alegrei, neste lugar estou sentindo uma unção.
Do porteiro até o ministério, vejo Deus presente em cada irmão.
Mas as portas do inferno não prevalecem,
Contra uma igreja que vive em consagração.
Pastor permaneça nesta fé, que Jesus Cristo segura em suas mãos.

Quero andar de valor em valor e seguir a Jesus meu Senhor
Té que um dia receba no céu a coroa que me dará Deus.

Praying Church

I was born in a praying church, a small house there in the countryside
Every service was a reason to party, and every believer prayed with passion.
Evangelism was a revival, and every believer wanted to participate
