كل نقطة ماية مشيت كام
كل نقطة ماية ليها تاريخ جبار
كام مره طلعت للسما ونزلت مطر
وإرتوى منها في حياتها كام بشر
وقد إيه نزلت في أنهار أو بحار
وقد إيه غاصت وسكنت في الآبار
وقد إيه عبرت في أشجار وفي ثمار
مشيت ف كام كائن خلقته ياالله
وياترى وهبت بأمرك كام حياة
هى نقطة بس علم مالوش حدود
دى كل نقطة عمرها عمر الوجود
محتارة اقولك تانى ايه يكفينى اقول
نقطة الماية اللى جايه عشان ترويك
ممكن تكون صدفة إرتوى منها الرسول

A Drop of Water

Every drop of water, how far has it traveled?
Every drop of water has a rich history,
How many times has it risen to the sky and fallen as rain?
And how many people have it quenched in their lives?
How much of it has flowed into rivers or seas?
How much of it has seeped into wells and dwelled there?
How much of it has passed through trees and into their fruits?
How many creatures have you created, O Allah, that it has flowed through?
And surely, by your command, how many lives has it breathed into?
A mere drop of water, but its knowledge knows no bounds.
This drop of water is as old as existence itself.
I'm at a loss for words, but let me say this:
The drop of water that comes to quench your thirst,
It may have been the same drop that quenched the thirst of the Prophet.
