كيف كانت البداية
يا صفية يا تقية
والهداية في النهاية
والحكاية محمدية

من يغالب ربه يغلب
من مصيره فين هيهرب
ينقضوا بنود المعاهدة
والرسول بالحق يكسب

يا صفية كنتي منهم
عارفة إيه اللي بيجرا بينهم
وكل تفاصيل المؤامرة
لما أبوكي كان زعيمهم
السما بترفع رايتها
لما جبريل قال ساعتها
يا رسول الله حاربهم
الملايكة بأسلحتها

أبشروا يا مسلمين
كنتي جاريه يحررك
الرسول الأمين
فى أهل بيته بيقدرك
كان فى حلمك يا صفية
نفحة طاهرة ونورانية
القمر واقع فى حجرك
والملايكة رايحة جاية

يا ساجدة يا داعية
يلي في صلاتك باكية
الرسول صدقاً يقولك
من سلالتك أنبياء
من اليهود لكن أمنتي
بالبشير المصطفى
لما أسلمتي وفرحتي
بالسلام والصفاء

Safia, wife of the Messenger of God

How did it all begin,
O Safia, O pious,
And how did it end in guidance?
The story is one of Muhammad.

One who fights his Lord will be defeated,
For who can escape their fate?
They broke the terms of the treaty,
But the Messenger, with truth, prevailed.

O Safia, you were one of them,
You knew what was happening among them,
All the details of the conspiracy,
When your father was their leader.
The heavens raised its banner,
When Gabriel said to him, "O Messenger of God,
Fight them,
The angels with their weapons."

Rejoice, O Muslims,
You were a slave, but he set you free,
The truthful Messenger.
He honored you among his household.
In your dream, O Safia,
There was a pure and radiant light,
The moon fell into your lap,
And the angels came and went.

O worshipper, O supplicant,
Whose prayers are filled with tears,
The Messenger truly said of you,
“Prophets will come from your lineage.”
You were of the Jews, but you believed
In the chosen Prophet.
When you converted to Islam and rejoiced
In peace and tranquility.
