J'me souviens des Noël chez moi
Quand je mettais mon pyjama

Et là ça cognait à la porte

On faisait l'échange de cadeaux

On déballait sans respirer

À c'qu'il y aurait dans nos bas de laine

I remember Christmases at my place
When I used to put on my pajamas
When we slept until midnight
It was full of magic

There were all these gifts
All of it arrived by sleigh
Nicely wrapped for the curious
Who would peek a corner or two

I remember the family
Grandparents and cousins
We were all nicely dressed
For this beautiful and long evening

For me it was chocolates first

While waiting for the day to come

And there it was knocking at the door
There he was in his big boots
Santa Claus all covered in snow
He had finally arrived

But that's normal, he's Santa Claus
I saw him last year too

We exchanged gifts
We all wanted the biggest one
We unwrapped without breathing
All our trucks and our dolls
