There she goes, delicate, every day more beautiful,
And her calico dress always has a Sunday air.

She walks by swiftly, cheerful and flirtatious,
And as she smiles, for the whole street, she sows illusions.
When she passes by, she goes to sell lemons to the square,
And she's even called, as a joke, Little Rose of Lemons.

When she passes by, next to my window,
My eyes follow her until I see, from the street, the end.
With a playful air, she walks hastily,
Laughing at everything and nothing, and sometimes she smiles at me...

When she passes by, hawking lemons,
Alone, with my thoughts, in the opening of my window,
I find myself thinking that any day, as a joke,
