إلهي، إلهي، عبدك العاصي، أتاك مقرًّا بالذنوب
وقد دعاك فإن تغفر، فإن تغفر
فإن تغفر فأنت بذاك أهلاً وإن تطرد
وإن تطرد فمن أرجو سواك

إلهي، إلهي، عبدك العاصي، أتاك مقرًّا بالذنوب
Tuhan, hamba-Mu yang ingkar ini datang kepada-Mu mengakui segala dosa
Dan hamba memohon keampunan daripada-Mu
Kerana hanya Engkau sahaja yang layak mengurniakan keampunan
Kiranya Engkau tolak permintaan ini
Pada siapa lagi akan hamba harapkan?

فإن تغفر فأنت بذاك أهلاً وإن تطرد
وإن تطرد فمن أرجو سواك
إلهي

Prayer of Repentance 1

My God, my God, your disobedient servant has come to you, confessing his sins
And he has called upon you for forgiveness, and if you forgive, then forgive
For if you forgive, then you are worthy of it, and if you reject
And if you reject, then whom shall I hope in besides you?

My God, my God, your disobedient servant has come to you, confessing his sins
O God, Your servant, who has committed many sins, has come to You in confession
And I ask for Your forgiveness
Because You alone are worthy of granting forgiveness
If You were to reject this request
To whom else would I turn?

For if you forgive, then you are worthy of it, and if you reject
And if you reject, then whom shall I hope in besides you?
