שמעו רבותי דברי חכמה, דברי משנה מהתנא
מגדולי אנשי אמונה, הלל הזקן היה: בדרך המוסר כך הוא אמר
אם אין אני לי מי לי וכשאני לעצמי מה אני
אם אין אני לי מי לי ואם לא עכשיו אימתי
(משנה אבות א יד)
תזכה אתה לעצמך, ברוב מצוה תלמוד תורה
אין אחר יזכה אותך, לחיי העולם הבא
.אל תחכה לזקנה כי לך הבחירה

I Am For Myself

Listen ladies and gentlemen to words of wisdom, the words of the Mishnah from the men of faith
One of the greatest, Hillel the Elder, taught this moral path:
If I am not for myself, who will be? And if not now, when?
If I am not for myself, who will be? And if not now, when?
(Mishnah Avot 1:14)
Accomplish for your own sake, what will earn you a life eternal through the study of Torah
For no one else shall earn it for you;
Don't wait for old age, the choice is yours now.
