واذا عـــاصـــت مـعـانيها ترى مانيب شاعرها
ومن يعشق سواة السبق ويضمّر سواة اعمار
جــزيـــلات الــبــحــور تطاوعه ويجيب نادرها
يــسخّــر كــل تيمات الهجن في داخل المضمار
فـهــل يُـعـقـــل صـعـيــبات القوافي ما يسخّرها
يــسخّــرهــا وشــعـــره دون داره صـارمٍ بتّـار
وروحــــه دون حـــد تــــرابها ماهوب ذاخرها
تغطرس يا وطنّا غـصنك اخضر والسما مدرار
تحــت ظــل الــشيــوخ الـــــلي تقدّرك وتقدّرها
خــليــفــة لـلــولــد مـثــل الأبـو وللأب إبنٍ بار
خــليـفـــة فـــزعـــةٍ لضــــعاف دولتنا واكبرها
خـليفــة لـلـضـيـوف مـعــزّب وللجار نعم الجار
ولــلأمــه خــليـفــة ذخــــــر لا شحّت مذاخرها
خـليفــة كـــل مــــا قامت هل الفتنه تشب النار
يـطـفّـي نـــارهــا واهــــل الفتن بالعزم يدحرها
