Aku merantau dok di negri oghang,
Baratuh batu dari kapung aku,
Negri yg aku kije memang tak dok stempak,
Hidup pindoh randoh macang org nomak,
Nok cari kedai hok ade masakang kapung,
Tapi payoh sunggoh makanang segere hok setimbung,
Nih aku malah duduk bando besa,
Kalu sesak musing ketang dok tau palekko,

Makang selow selow tak mo wi lekak tulang,
Kalu ade cuti pakak balik kapung la wey,
Balik mane lagi negri ganu yg tercinteee

Ingak dulu dulu pelekong pauh dengang kayu,
Sebak kebung org pahtu banyok kengge hok tunggu,
Lening aku syukur terima kasih pada Tuhan,
Dulu awan nano leni aku jadi org.

My darling, I am drifting in a foreign land,
Far from my village where I stand.
The country I reside in is truly bizarre,
Life here is like that of a nomad left afar.
I search for a shop that serves hometown fare,
But fresh and authentic food is hard to compare.
Now I find myself in a bustling city,
Lost and confused amidst the crowd's rapidly.

I long to return home,
To the village where my roots roam.

I crave the taste of fragrant rice cooked in broth,
With fried fish and vegetables, a delightful duo.
I'd pound a spicy sambal paste, adding a fiery touch,
And savor the flavors of fermented anchovies, oh so much.
Crispy green beans paired with fish, a perfect match,
I'd eat slowly, savoring every bite, bones and all, no clash.
When I have leave, I'll pack my bags and head back,
To my beloved Trengganu, where my heart finds its track.

I recall the old days, fishing by the riverbank,
The fruit trees in our garden, a bountiful sight.
Grateful am I for all the blessings bestowed,
From humble beginnings, to the man I am today, the road.
