Bìm bịp kêu, con nước về đây
Ai buông tiếng đàn sầu cho dạ em đau
Đàn ai buông, xê cống xàng xê
Trăng non cũng buồn cho nỗi buồn đêm nay.

Thầm gọi cố nhân, biền biệt đã lâu
Bao năm vẫn đợi, anh về quê hương
Gió về phương Nam, nhắn cho đôi lời
Cung thương cung oán em buồn anh ơi.

Bìm bịp đã kêu, giờ này nước lên
Ai gieo rắc mạ, be bờ ruộng xa
Nước ròng lên cao, bởi mưa trong lòng
Hoa thơm ong bướm, anh đành quên em.
