Como recuerdos juveniles

Vaho nocturno

Es la hora misteriosa en que agonizan oficinas
Huyen las personas y una luna extraña germina
Entre paredes grises y callejones
Y una naturaleza oscura es la noche
Que se mete así en los rincones
Se escurre en el asfalto
Mancha todo
Calma todo
Falsa calma
Falso todo

Cristales negros de edificios apagados
Baldosas rotas de calles abandonadas
Perros solitarios en paradas canceladas
Frío estacionado sobre veredas gastadas
Rumores de fiesta en una alcantarilla
Eco de una vida que está siendo en otro lado.

Cansado el hombre se acuesta y descansa

Night City

When the enormous sun sinks down,
Into the rigid mountains of cement,
On a horizon that slowly returns
The shadows and the echoes of a past,
They whisper to the weary day,
Consuming itself in these blind flames,
The star, still warm, is dying, my love.

And its golds congeal,
Its oranges cease,
And the arrival of something is felt,
Of someone,
Its night mood weighs heavy on its rays,
This is how it begins,
And ends,
This is how the sun's funeral is crowned.

Now planes flee from the sky,
Like youthful memories,
That fade into ashes,
And then,
The shadow enters,
Trees twist into smoke,
The tireless cars,
The streetlights,
Like new suns,
Small and vibrant,
Out-of-tune singers,
A strident urban melody,
Night mist,
Serene mood,
The corner bar, darling.

It's the mysterious hour when offices agonize,
People flee and a strange moon germinates,
Between gray walls and alleyways,
And a dark nature is the night,
That creeps into the corners like this,
It slips on the asphalt,
Stains everything,
Calms everything,
False calm,
False everything, my dear.

Black glass of extinguished buildings,
Broken tiles of abandoned streets,
Lonely dogs at cancelled stops,
Parked cold on worn sidewalks,
Rumors of a party in a sewer,
Echo of a life that is being lived elsewhere.

Tired, man lies down and rests,
Comforted by the idea that it belongs to others,
The night is alive for someone who is not me,
Other whos,
Other whens,
Other wheres,
The useful life of other similar men,
That humanize a brutal night,
Painful party of people who are gone,
Who live in other beds,
Who sleep in other beds,
Who dance in other beds,
