Tema:
Por
el
amor
de
una
china
se
pelearon
y
se
hirieron
los
rivales.
Subject:
For
the
love
of
a
Chinese
the
rivals
fought
and
hurt
each
other.
Era
lindaza
la
china
It
was
a
beautiful
China
Y
era
bonito
mi
pago,
And
it
was
nice
my
payment,
Y
era
linda
aquella
vida,
And
it
was
beautiful
that
life,
Vivida
allí
entre
sus
brazos;
Lived
there
in
his
arms;
Pero
las
hembras,
amigo,
But
the
females,
my
friend,
Tienen
en
el
cuerpo
el
diablo,
They
have
the
devil
in
their
body,
Y
el
diablo
se
vino
un
día,
And
the
devil
came
one
day,
Montando
un
caballo
zaino,
Riding
a
zaino
horse,
Y
mi
china,
compañero,
And
my
China,
mate,
Juyó
de
mi
pobre
rancho.
He
tried
my
poor
ranch.
Yo
les
confié
el
perseguirlos
I
entrusted
them
to
pursue
them
A
las
patas
de
mi
zaino,
At
the
feet
of
my
zaino,
Y
en
abras
de
aquella
sierra,
And
in
the
opening
of
that
mountain,
Les
di
alcance
a
los
malvados.
I
gave
scope
to
the
wicked.
Cuchillo
contra
cuchillo,
Knife
against
knife,
Ahi
(sic)
nomás
nos
atacamos;
There
(sic)
we
just
attacked
each
other;
Nos
herimos
varias
veces,
We
got
hurt
several
times,
Pero
estuve
mal
del
brazo;
But
I
was
bad
on
the
arm;
Se
me
fue
la
vista
en
sangre,
The
sight
of
me
was
gone
in
blood,
Y
allí
quedé
entre
los
pastos.
And
there
I
stayed
among
the
pastures.
Y
ahura
le
digo,
aparcero,
And
ahura
I
say,
sharecropper,
Que
me
tira
la
querencia;
That
throws
me
the
querencia;
Más
no
quiero,
he
d'ir
al
pago,
I
don't
want
more,
I
have
to
go
to
the
payment,
Porque
ya
me
da
vergüenza.
Because
I'm
already
embarrassed.
Ando
juído
como
un
perro,
I
walk
around
like
a
dog,
Relamiéndome
las
pellas;
Licking
my
balls;
Estuve
mal
pa'l
cuchillo
I
was
bad
for
the
knife
Y
perdí
aquella
pelea,
And
I
lost
that
fight,
Pero
usted
no
sabe
amigo,
But
you
don't
know
friend,
Lo
que
tira
la
querencia.
What
throws
away
the
desire.
