今日でおしまいさこの遊園地
別れを惜しんで客押し寄せて
今まで見向きもしなかったのに
この日だけは昔のように

塗装の剥がれた馬が駆けてゆき
歪んだコーヒーカップ
天に飛んでゆくよ
レールを滑ってくコースター
速度を落として夜空に溶けるよ

今日でおしまいさこの遊園地
別れを惜しんで客押し寄せて
今まで見向きもしなかったのに
この日だけは昔のように

みんなの笑顔とポップコーンはじけて
愛を誓い合った観覧車
宙返りをするコースター
夢の向こうまで連れていって

そんな時代はもう昔のこと
みんなの夢も一緒に消えてゆく
子どもの頃から通ってた
近所のあの子が見当たらない

係りのおじさん電源落として
夢のあとは真っ暗闇だけど
来年の今頃は新しい
街が出来てるだろう

Farewell Amusement Park

Today is the last day for this amusement park,
And customers are pouring in to bid farewell,
Though they never paid it any mind,
Today, they're here, just like old times.

The paint-peeled horses gallop on,
And the crooked coffee cups
Float up into the sky.
Roller coasters slide down the rails,
Slowing down as they vanish into the night sky.

Today is the last day for this amusement park,
And customers are pouring in to bid farewell,
Though they never paid it any mind,
Today, they're here, just like old times.

Smiles and popcorn burst forth,
Ferris wheels witness vows of affection,
Roller coasters somersault,
Carrying us to the realm of dreams.

But those times are now but memories,
And with them fade our dreams.
I frequented this place since childhood,
But the girl from next door is nowhere to be found.

The attendant flips the switch,
And the dream ends, leaving us in darkness.
Next year, a new city
Will surely rise in its place.
