In the bustling streams of passersby,
In this concrete wilderness,
I wander lost, a soul adrift,
Secluded from the world's kiss.
Like a silkworm in its silken shroud,
I retreat into a realm of my own,

As my unseen wings flutter, a secret symphony.
Though their beauty remains unknown,
I cling to the hope they shall be shown.

My grotesque form, a social pariah's curse,
Condemned by the judgmental gaze,
I don a façade of laughter,
But within, my heart withers away.
Layer upon layer, the silken threads entwine,
Muffling my voice until it fades away,
If only I had never dared to dream,
Then this unbearable pain would've been spared.
Yet, deep within, a flicker remains,
A longing for someone to love me, just the same.

I long to embrace my true self,

Through this cocoon's suffocating embrace,
I shall emerge, a phoenix reborn.

Embracing my past, present, and future,
