There's a star like the vernal sun and a planet as Spring itself
Its gardens and fountains, its mountains and valleys
And shadowy paths and deserts

There are mansions of paradise and engines under the seas
They keep the machinery moving, the play of life going
The lands and the peoples of the fairy kingdom

Not many a traveler comes here, cannot find or does not dare to arrive
The journey is so long, the pathways so perilous
And safety along them is scant

But one comes and flees here through a tunnel of a thousand fires
Through chasms of time and whirlwinds of forces
And awakes finally to his ship
That ship's statue of flames down yonder hidden in a wilderness
And flees far from the path of seekers
And begins his longest journey
He hears of an ageless woman on the mountains, perhaps a madwoman or a seeress
She's a priestess of Kronos of the stars
And the bearer of Mithras' keys

Does the traveler find his destination, none can tell the tale
But the mountains know and the paths whisper

Scheming and learning, drawing strength from each other
They mix the truth, create the myth
Deciding now that wars must end

Princes will stumble from their high cold thrones
