Det sägs att svenska folket har delats i två block
Som så att säga ständigt ligger med varandra uti krock

Detsamma kan sägas om medborgare Feldin, så vad jag menar är
Det här är en opolitisk sång och ett helt opolitiskt möte
Men femtio procent av svenska folket kan väl inte va' helt bakom flötet?
Här skall det inte bli några bråk och inga hårda duster
