Und A&R's zücken das Scheckbuch auf Jams wie Writer Blackbooks.
Doch auch der beste Hook hilft rein gar nichts da wo kein Plan ist,
Ne feste Basis muß sein, da sie Grundstein für jede Tat ist.
Also Erstens: Frag Dich, ob's Dir das wirklich wert ist.
Rapst Du weil's Dir im Herz liegt oder weil der Scheiß
Zur Zeit Kommerz ist? Kohle scheffeln Leute die Ewigkeiten
Dabei sind. Ihr Leben dafür bereit sind zu geben, daß sie soweit sind.
Zweitens: Das peinliche Biten bitte
Vermeiden. Von den Meisten die schreiben,
Sind die Wenigsten wirklich eigen.
Nummer Drei:
Beim Freestyle muß man üben und Bühne trennen, lieber zehn Sätze
Die brennen als zehn Minuten verschwenden. Denn das Publikum
Ist mega-abgetörnt wenn du nicht burnst; gib das Mic ab,
Sag Pease, und mach sie platt wenn Du returnst.
Nummer Vier: Setz dich hin,
Spitz n Stift, nimm Papier, lern MCs zu respektieren
Und ihre stärken zu studieren.
Nummer Fünf ist so wichtig wie nichts ist in
Diesem Business:
Da die Scheiße Kampfsport ist, sei drauf gefaßt daß Du gedisst wirst!
Sechs: Find Dein eigenes Repertoire
Wenn Du rappst, denn wo Du die Worte setzt
Ist die Formel für Dein Kontext und Gesamtkonzept.
Und das führt uns direkt zu Nummer Sieben: Du mußt
Hip Hop lieben als wärst Du immer nur Fan geblieben.
Der Fame und die ganze Scheiße ist geil und man soll's genießen,
Doch ohne feste Basis Typen wäre keiner von uns gestiegen.
Nummer Acht ist so ähnlich wie sieben, und daher easy:
Gib Respekt an die Breaker, die DJs und an Graffiti.
Neun: Du darfst auf keinen Fall schlafen aber mußt träumen;
Fokussier dich auf Dein Ziel, um die Hürden vom Weg zu räumen.
Nummer Zehn ist die eigentlich Erste von allen Regeln: Stell dich
NIE gegen Curse! Das war's von mir, jetzt können die Anderen reden.

After ten years on the mic, I know a little bit,

A solid foundation must be there, as it is the cornerstone of every deed.
So First: Ask yourself if it's really worth it to you.
Do you rap because it's in your heart or because the shit
Is currently commercial? People who make money have been at it for ages
They are ready to give their lives for it, so that they can get that far.
Second: That embarrassing biting please
Avoid it. Of most of those who write,
Very few are really original.
Number Three:
You have to practice freestyle and separate stage, better ten sentences
That burn than wasting ten minutes. Because the audience
Is mega-turned off when you don't burn; hand over the mic,
Say please, and crush them when you return.
Number Four: Sit down,
Sharpen a pencil, take paper, learn to respect MCs
And study their strengths.
Number Five is as important as nothing is in
This business:
Since the shit is martial arts, be prepared to get dissed!
Six: Find your own repertoire
When you rap, because where you put the words
Is the formula for your context and overall concept.
And that brings us directly to Number Seven: You must
Love hip hop as if you had always been just a fan.
The fame and all that shit is cool and you should enjoy it,
But without a solid foundation, none of us would have risen.
Number Eight is so similar to seven, and therefore easy:
Give respect to the breakers, the DJs and to graffiti.
Nine: You can't sleep but you have to dream;
Focus on your goal, to clear the hurdles out of the way.
Number Ten is actually the first of all the rules: Put yourself
