A situação daquele aleijado, que por 38 anos esperou
Era triste, angustiante, inexplicável, pois não dá pra descrever tamanha dor
Todos os dias deitado à beira de um tanque, vendo a Bênção alcançar outras pessoas
Minha imaginação vai mais além: ele era humilhado sempre por alguém
Ele não viu nenhuma possibilidade de sair de onde estava para mergulhar
Mas é impressionante como Meu Deus surpreende quando Ele quer agir, quando quer operar
Chegou bem na hora e pra resolver, mesmo sendo longo o tempo de espera
Disse ao aleijado: "Levanta e anda!"
Ele começou andar e a caminhar na Terra

Bem melhor que carregar a cama, creia, é ser curado
Bem melhor que esperar no homem é por Deus ser achado
Bem melhor que se arrastar, buscar a Cura e chorando
É crer que o seu Milagre já está chegando
Bem melhor do que pedir a homens é buscar em Deus
Bem melhor que se falar com homens é falar com Deus
Bem melhor que insistir e até ser desapontado é ouvir do Próprio Deus:
"Hoje você vai ser curado!"
