Most of them are never found

Simetimes six feet underground

Abductors must be really sick
Something in their heads went click
A message from some late night flick
Or even some backwoods red neck hick
The schools are going on patrol
'Cause now the thief is on a roll
Their adding up and taking toll
Abductor must not have a soul

Entführt von ihrem Spielplatz
Es scheint jeden Tag zu passieren
Fast so, als würde es für Geld getan
Aber wer kann das wissen und wer kann das sagen?

Ausgehängt im Laden an der Ecke
Zwei vermisste Kinder, vielleicht mehr
Ihr Alter, ihre Größe, die Kleidung, die sie trugen
Und genau das, was der Zeuge sah
Die meisten von ihnen werden nie gefunden
Obwohl einige wenige wieder auftauchen
Im Müll oder im Fluss ertrunken
Manchmal sechs Fuß tief unter der Erde

Entführer müssen wirklich krank sein
Etwas in ihren Köpfen hat Klick gemacht
Eine Botschaft aus irgendeinem späten Nachtfilm
Oder sogar von irgendeinem Hinterwäldler-Proleten
Die Schulen gehen auf Patrouille
Denn jetzt ist der Dieb auf Erfolgskurs
Sie häufen sich an und fordern ihren Tribut
Ein Entführer muss seelenlos sein

Wohin sind all die Kinder gegangen?
Wie lange muss die Suche noch weitergehen?

Werden sie in die Sklaverei verkauft?
Manche sagen, sie sind einfach weggelaufen
