오늘도 니가 떠난 이 길은 여전해
조금도 슬픔 막아낼 수 없어 끝내
쏟아지는 눈물과 설움이 울려 퍼지네
말라가는 씨앗 니 손길로 꽃이 되었네
들려오는 비난과 비운의 고통을
맞서 싸운 지금 이 말처럼 너에게 감동을
주는 말은 없다 조국
멀리 떠난 너의 함성이 메아리가 되어
가슴 깊숙이 향기만 남아서 사라지네
오늘따라 유난히 잠 못 드는 이 밤이
지그시 눈 감고 두 손 모아 기도하네
신념과 희망이 확실했기에
님의 침묵을 내가 선언했기에
이별 갈등 희망과 만남
소리 높여 외친 태화관

그대 내게 보내 준 따뜻한 바람
나를 꿈꾸게 만들고
흐려진 사진 속에 선명한
그댄 날 미소 짓게 해
지그시 눈 감아도 들려오는
그날 그대의 목소리
걸어온 긴 아픔이
하늘이 되어 여기 있으니 영원히

나의 동지 11명의 무명지
붉게 새겼던 우리들의 다짐
여기 단지 동맹이란 이름 앞에
생사는 전혀 중요치 않은 일
대한독립 이 나란 우리의 것
오직 우리들의 힘으로만
해낼 수 있어 일궈낼 수 있어
나라 잃은 우리에게 내일은 없어
해방이란 이름의 방아쇠를
망설임 없이 나는 당겼네
하얼빈 하늘 울린 다짐
그대의 눈물 헛되이지 않길
마음에 품은 나의 어머니
너의 죽음은 네 것이 아니니
조국을 위해 한 목숨 바쳐

한줌 재가 되어 꽃으로 피어나리

눈앞에 놓인 가슴 아픈 현실 속에 우린
어둡고 가난한 삶의 빛이 돼준 동주 시인
창밖에 밤비가 네게 속삭여가
두려움은 언제쯤 가시냐는 궁금증
뼈빠지게 일하며 근근이 버티지

우리에게 돌아온 건 무단 통치기지
그대였기에 가능한 거였어
눈앞에 가득 차 맴돌고 있어

1919년 기미년 3월 1일 모두가 바랬던 바램
탑골 공원을 가득 채운 사람들
멀리 울려 퍼진 만세소리
기억하니 너와 나
33인을 담아낸 문서 하나
태화관 밖으로 울려 퍼졌던 건
모두의 염원을 담은 마음이니
16살 소녀의 품 안에 끌어 안겨진 태극기
그 안에 담긴 애국심 들리니
유관순 열사의 목소리
현재와 과거 그리고 미래

모든 걸 이어줬던 그대들의
한 줌의 재가 꽃이 되어
내 발아래 피어났기에
가능했음을 아네

Taehwagwan, where you spoke out loud

My comrades, the eleven unknown fingers
The promise we etched in red
Here, before the name of the alliance
Life and death are not important at all
Korean Independence, it's ours
Only through our own strength
We can achieve it, we can make it happen
For us who have lost our country, there is no tomorrow
The trigger of liberation
I pulled it without hesitation
Harbin, the sky echoed with our oath
May your tears not be in vain
My mother, whom I hold in my heart
Your death is not your own
You gave your life for your country
