Je suis née comme tout un chacun, ça tombait mal mais ça fait rien

Tout le monde était bien content, après, on a bu du vin blanc
C'est la couleur de l'innocence.
Premier janvier, premier baiser, faisait soleil dans l'escalier
Mais quand je suis rentrée chez moi, ben j'avais un accroc à mon bas
Les gâteaux fondaient sous la lampe, vive l'enfance.

Mes parents, ils étaient gentils, toujours contents, toujours polis

Quand on m'habillait en dimanche.
Même l'odeur du café au lait, des fois, ça me ferait pleurer
Mes parents, ils ont du vieillir, un jour ou l'autre ils vont mourir
