With sacrifice I raised my seven children
Six of them were my blood
And one I took in at almost one month of age

I was a traveler, farmer, wanderer
And so that I could feed my children
I myself would often go hungry

Seven children, seven innocent mouths
Very poor but happy
I never let any of them go without

As they grew up, it became more difficult
I worked from sun up till sun down
But they had to study

My suffering, oh my God, it was worth it all
How many tears I cried
But it was all done with so much love

Seven diplomas
Six of them big deals
And thanks to the money I made with a hoe
They were all able to become doctors

Now, I'm old, my hair is gray
My body is worn out
My hands don’t even work anymore

My children put up with a lot from me

Time passed and I got very sick
Now, I live in a nursing home
And only one son comes to see me
