This was actually one of the last songs that, uhm, that I recorded for our first album
And it was kind of in a, in the final stages where we were done recording the record
And this song came in
It's actually one of the only two songs that I've recorded that I didn't have a hand in writing
And it was just one of those songs that was so moving that I couldn't really deny that
And it kind of took on a life of its own when we did, did some work for the one campaign
And used it as, as a, as an outreach for donations

And, and things of that nature to bring attention to what that campaigns was doing
And, and it was a song that I or was, it was a
It's kind of a thing that I didn't really picture the song being about
At, at the time that I recorded it
And then it just kinda all made sense
So uhm, sometimes those things happen and sometimes they don't
But this one was certainly a special tune to record

Das war tatsächlich einer der letzten Songs, ähm, die ich für unser erstes Album aufgenommen habe
Und es war irgendwie in den letzten Zügen, als wir mit den Aufnahmen für das Album fertig waren
Und dieser Song kam dazu
Es ist tatsächlich einer der nur zwei Songs, die ich aufgenommen habe, an deren Schreiben ich nicht beteiligt war
Und es war einfach einer dieser Songs, der so bewegend war, dass ich das wirklich nicht leugnen konnte
Und er hat irgendwie ein Eigenleben entwickelt, als wir Arbeit für die One Campaign gemacht haben
Und ihn als, als ein, als Mittel zur Spendenwerbung genutzt haben

Und, und Dinge dieser Art, um Aufmerksamkeit darauf zu lenken, was diese Kampagne machte
Und, und es war ein Song, den ich oder es war, es war ein
Es ist irgendwie eine Sache, von der ich mir nicht wirklich vorgestellt hatte, dass der Song davon handeln würde
Zu, zu dem Zeitpunkt, als ich ihn aufnahm
Und dann ergab das irgendwie alles einen Sinn
Also ähm, manchmal passieren solche Dinge und manchmal nicht
Aber dieser hier war sicherlich ein besonderes Stück zum Aufnehmen
