Quand j'suis arrivée près du château,
Il faisait nuit on n'y voyait goute
J'avais abandonnée mon auto
En panne bien en panne sur le bord de la route
J'ai frappée à la porte

En battant des aies

Une voix m'as demander: "qui es-tu?"
Je me suis retournée j'ai bien failli crier
Pas de doute ce n'était pas un homme
C'était un fantôme
J'ai essayée de m'enfuire
Mais tout était fermer
J'ai eu beau courir courir
Le fantôme était toujours là derrière qui me suivait
J'croyais ma dernière heure arriver
Quand le fantôme m'as ratrapper
J'osaie à peine encore respirer
Quand il s'est approché et il s'est écriier
"Vous êtes Dorothée, de la télévision
Mad'moiselle s'il vous plaît chantez moi une chanson"
Puis il m'as inviter à danser
Mon dieux quelle soirée
Quand le petit jour s'est levé
Le fantôme gentillement m'as demandé
Si il pouvait m'accompagner
Il en avait assez de ce château hanter
Il voulait s'en aller bien sûr j'ai accepter
Depuis je ne l'ai jamais regretter
Il sait tout faire il est toujours là

The Ghost

When I arrived near the castle,

When dawn broke
The ghost kindly asked me
