I, I close my eyes and come to grips
I look myself in the mirror and ask, "How did it come to this?"
I feel a humid heat and I hear the sun is at haste
I wake up in this room wondered what if I didn′t exist?
Life was beautiful
Surely there's something that I′ve been missing
Pull a shades up early this morning, the sky did glisten
I looked up to the Lord for an answer and I did listen
And I knew that life was good and he'd be the God on my mission
