Es is wunderschön das Land wo i auf'd Welt kommen bin,
Hab aufi g'schaut wie über uns're Berg die Wolken ziehn.
I hab mi' oft in'd Wies'n g'legt hab träumt' oft stundenlang,
Und nie hat mi die Angst befall'n net einmal war mir bang.

Es is wunderschön des Land wo i die Kindheit hab verbracht,

The country where I was born is beautiful,

I often lay in the meadow and dreamed for hours,

The country where I spent my childhood is beautiful,
I often thanked the Lord above for making it so.
There was so much that I was happy about every day,
It was a time full of happiness and joy, and nothing was a nuisance to me.
