J'ai choisi de croire en un rêve auquel personne ne croyait
Je me souviens encore des moqueries des gens que je côtoyais
Qui me demandaient avec le rap comment fonderai-je un foyer
Je n'étais que gradué mais j'abandonnais tout pour déployer
Plus d'efforts dans la musique et le seul mot que j'employais
Sur ce chemin de la croix est "persévérance" car je m'voyais

La caravane passait par la grâce que Dieu m'a octroyé

J'lui ai dit c'est impossible en rap "il m'a dit prêche"
Je suis souverain, j'suis l'éternel et rien ne m'empêche
De choisir un rappeur et de faire de lui un homme qui prêche

Des nouveaux compositeurs, plusieurs portes se sont ouvertes
Par la suite j'allais en studio pour enregistrer
Mon album en pensant à ceux qui me traitaient de distret
J'réalisais que leurs moqueries n'ont pas pu m'arrêter
Je puis tout par celui qui me fortifie, le Ressuscité
Du troisième jour à son service il a dénié m'affecter
Il a pansé chacune de mes blessures les plus infectées
Malgré les insultes et les simagrées qui m'ont offusqué
J'ai gardé la foi jusqu'au jour où Dieu m'a débusqué
